The date for the organizing meeting for the board of the Center for Ethical Living and Social Justice Renewal is Saturday May 31st. Location yet to be set.

The work of this event is incredibly important and exciting.? The Center will be our new secular no-profit entity that will help us carry our missions and secure funding not available to churches to do that work.? The first critical project will be preparing to manage and operate the UU Volunteer Center currently housed at First Church.? A team of GNOUU leaders and the UUSC are in conversation about a transition to local management and the Center for Ethical Living will eventually be the entity that manages the volunteer program.? For that we need the necessary organizational structure in place to apply for the Center's 501c3.

Whether you are interested in being on the board or not we need everyone who cares about this and can make the time to get involved.? I t will only happen if we do it.?
